We understand the importance of maintaining an independent committee of scholars to ensure ongoing Sharia compliance. Some companies instead of assembling their own Sharia committees utilize the services of third party companies to provide Sharia advice on a casual basis. This approach is not good enough for Pharos as we believe the role of a Sharia committee, as it has been reflected in Pharos Charter is far more involved and fundamental to our business. We have scheduled meetings with our scholars and they are always available to answer specific questions or deal with queries. In addition, they oversee our activities and perform regular audits to ensure the strictest ongoing Sharia compliance.
